  1. Open Living Atlas: https://livingatlas.arcgis.com
    1. Sign in
  2. Search for Terrain
  3. Click on Terrain item
    1. Note Tags
    2. Server functions
    3. Data sources
    4. Data coverage
      1. Sources
  4. Open ArcGIS Online and sign in
  5. Open a new map
  6. From Browse Menu, select Living Atlas
  7. Add Terrain to map
  8. Select Image Display from … menu

  9. Open a new ArcGIS Pro document
  10. Add new map
  11. Create a new ArcGIS Server connection
    1. http://elevation.arcgis.com/arcgis/services
    2. Expand and see terrain
  12. Or, Portal -> Landscape Layers
    1. Expand and see terrain
    2. Add terrain
  13. In the Map, click on the map
    1. See the various sources
      1. Name
      2. LowPS = cell size
      3. Product name
      4. Source
  14. Select Image Service Layer menu
    1. Select Data Tab
    2. Click Explore Raster items
    3. Set area: Display
    4. Configure results:
      1. Name
      2. LowPS = pixel size
      3. Product name
      4. Source

Land cover, slope, and aspect

  1. Search portal for land cover
    1. Add USA NLCD Land Cover 2011
    2. Identify: cell value
    3. Properties: Cell size =?
